The first picture shows a transversal cut of my right calf. It is a T1-weighted Spin-Echo-Tomograph.

The second picture shows the same are of the calf, but this time as a lipid-selective tomograph. (white areas contain more lipids)

The concentration of intracellular lipids decreased about 25% in the musculus soleus whereas the concentration in the musculus tibialis anterior remained nearly constant.
